This dramatic tea-towel depicts an original drawing of Huon Pine (Lagarostrobos franklinii) which is forever linked to the campaign to stop the Gordon-below-Franklin dam in the late 1970s. Screen printed in silver on a black background.
Artwork is by Stalley Briton, a former urban planner and interior designer who lives in Hobart, Tasmania. Her aim is to tell a story of the Australian and Tasmanian landscape, and the animals that live within it.
