Emotions memory game for children

The emotions memory game comprises a dozen sustainable wooden tiles picturing different emotions, which can be played like a traditional memory game, or as an educational activity to help children understand emotions in an engaging way.

Try these great activities to encourage social play and help children regulate and recognise their own and others' feelings.

Individual play - Place tiles face down on a stack. Turn over the top card, and have a child name the emotion and make a face to match.

Group play - Spread the cards and have children take turns to choose one (keeping it hidden) and then make a face matching the emotion on the tile. Others try to guess which emotion it is ... Sort tiles into positive and negative emotions and discuss why each emotion is in the nominated group.

The set comes in a drawstring bag, making it perfect for travel.
