The artist, Emma Kerslake, is of Palawa heritage through her family line from the east coast of Tasmania. Her artwork represent a place that she’s visited recently and feels connected to. She conveys the colours, feel and smell of that place at a certain time. Emma embraces a slow process that uses dotting and multi-layered backgrounds.
