Don't you just love a tracking number - that impossible to read combination of nines, noughts and random digits that signal a delivery is on its way to your mailbox.
We're expecting quite a few deliveries this week as we prepare for the O Gosh Botany Pop up Shop in early December. Here, you can see the best of products from Australian designers, artists, and makers that are committed to sustainability and ethical business practices. We're out to help you enjoy a sustainable silly season so that the celebrations don't derail your efforts to take care of the earth.
First up, we have new products from Bush Medijina, a wonderful First Nations women's cooperative on Groote Eyelandt (NT). Bush Medijina uses traditional ingredients and knowledge to create modern skin care. We've tried these products ourselves and are excited that we will soon be offering them for sale. Look out for them in the next couple of weeks and give yourself a treat.
And we have treats for the home as well, with new table linen from You are Brave and Her Indigo. If you want a sustainable Christmas, paper serviettes should be the first to go - try lovely organic cotton or linen instead. At the end of the day, you put them in the wash instead of the bin and you'll be able to enjoy them for years to come.
And of course it's all about the kids isn't it? So we have ordered new activity toys from Five Little Bears. It's never too early to get those young minds started with high-quality, eco-friendly products that help them appreciate the natural world.
There's lots more to come, so keep any eye on the shop for more of our fabulous original jewellery, sustainable homewares, Australian art, and pamper products that are all made in Australia and sure to make you feel great while you do good.
Let's get ready for a sustainable and enjoyable silly season!
Join us online or at Block J Studio in Botany from Wednesday 30 November to Sunday 4 December 2022.
