About the Artist: Kate Hudson trained as a textile designer and worked in London before migrating to Australia. Her work draws influence from Japanese woodblocks and printmakers such as Margaret Preston. Her original linocuts are made using the reduction method, and with so many colours included, it can take more than a month to print an edition.
