First Nations storytelling set for children

This beautiful, sustainable, wooden set will introduce your child to Aboriginal culture with play and creativity. Little ones can make up their own stories while learning the symbols. Let's track a possum under the stars - or has the rain washed away the tracks. When the rainbow comes out, we can sit together ...
The 36 piece set consists of tiles engraved with Indigenous symbols used by First Nations people to illustrate their Dreaming stories and record information. Imagine how these symbols might mark a sacred site, or give directions to the location of a waterhole.
The artwork designs are recreated by Leanne Murner, and engraved on sustainable timber. The tiles have a naturally occurring difference in colour, texture and grain. You can maintain the wood with natural oil or wax.
The set comes in a drawstring bag, making it perfect for travel. Suitable for children 3yrs and older
Leanne Murner's Australian themed wooden toys are handmade in NSW. Leanne is passionate about the need for children to learn about native flora and fauna. Her range includes diverse themes such as fairies, space and understanding emotions.
